OMFG. . .

That was so cool.

Guess the speculation of "wait until Thog's rage runs out" was right, and Roy really did find a way to make Intelligence pay off in a fight.

Probably the best use of Knowledge (Architecture and Engineering) I've seen in a long time.

That was the best OotS I've seen in a while. It was awesome.

And I love the little throw-away joke of the guards dragging away a bound and gagged Zz'ditri (sp?) upside down and far away... Right before Roy gets his plan. Awesome.

I have been out of OOTS for a long, long time (meaning, I stopped reading around the time Roy died).

Over the past week, I've read every strip from #1 all the way up to this one.

I don't know how I'm going to hold out waiting a few days now for each new one!!

Considering he has a higher HD, more likely a better con score due to min-maxing, and DR shaving some damage off each hit he took, compared to all the damage roy took, there is no possible way that came even close to killing Thog. I do, however, think it's too heavy for him to pull himself out from, especially fatigued, so he's effectively pinned. ("Roy wins by pinfall"?)

I'm hoping the next strip is Roy just hanging out next to the rubble in a lawn chair for hours so the encounter doesn't technically "end" and Thog's stuck being fatigued. I <3 metagaming humor. :)
