OPEN CALL: Charity PDF for Katrina Victims

Awesome, Deb. I love it.

Sounds like you have a metric ton of material (which is very cool). Let me know when I can expect to start seeing material to edit, so I can set aside some time for it. Thanks.

Jim, let me check with Sean tonight but I think I've got a sizeable chunk ready to go. I'll send you a note later.

Swamp King PrC sent your way.

Swamp King

They are figures of legend, moving through swamp and marsh as though they were kings riding through their realms.

Some are predators, hunting those who enter their territory with a mix of animal cunning and a mastery of their swampy domain. Others are heroes, protecting the weak who stumble into dangerous wetland territories. But most are mysteries, seldom seen, more known in rumor than in fact, lords of a domain few will ever penetrate and return to tell the tale.

The greatest of swamp kings are said to move through a swamp invisibly, able to appear and disappear at will and are said to command all the beasts of the swamp.

Nearly all such individuals are lizardfolk, but once in a while, an individual of another race forms a similar near-mystical bond with a swamp or marsh. The intensity of the bond can only be formed by a near-death experience. Legend says that if the spirit of a dying man can become lost in a swamp and return back to his body, as a swamp king. At times, the unfortunate souls cursed to live as werecrocodiles may also achieve the status of the swamp king.

Are you still taking submissions? When's the cutoff?

We are still taking admissions, and will do so until the last day of September. After that, we'll accept your submission for a possible second book, but we make NO GUARANTEES that we'll be putting out a second charity book before the end of the year.

For artists, please consult the updated list further up in this thread. We still would like as many of those as possible. Thanks again!

The subtitle of the book is Cajun Arcana, so everyone who's been pushing for that one should please remain happy.

Once again, we would like to thank everyone who contributed anything at all to this, even if it was just words of encouragement. We are rapidly aproaching the 200 page mark, and will probably surpass it if submissions keep coming in!

We are hoping to make a difference in people's lives, and with your help that will happen!

EIGHT DAYS LEFT TO DONATE to SDH!

We mostly need art; check the latest list further up in the post, or if you have any unpublished art laying about and would like to donate it, send it in.

Everyone who donates anything to this project retains ALL RIGHTS to their work. :)
