I e-mailed you but never received a reply as to what type of work was still need for the project. You had mentioned the need for an NPC, so if you need material I am work on a low-level magical arson investigator gone bad. Also, inspired by the templates for hauntings in the latest issue of The Dragon, I'm writing up an entity haunt centered around the ghost of an African priest sent to America as a slave. If you think these may fit, let me know...

As long as you can do all the mechanics needed for it, and do it in a week, send it in. My apologies for missing your email. Both ideas will fit perfectly. Thank you for your thoughtfulness, and for reminding us of your work!

I've received a couple of emails about SDH, STD, and yes - it's still going to be released in October. It's just that in the last week of September we doubled the amount of donations to the book, so there's a heck of a lot of editing and layout to do. And I got an email tonight about SDH vanishing from the Upcoming Releases page of RPGNow. That's because Dog Soul is now on RPGNow Edge, and therefore, so is the blurb about SDH:

As for Dog Soul's website, I know, I know...that and Dog Soul Forums are just going to have to wait til either I clone myself or I become a wee bit less busy.

So don't worry, the charity book is on the way, you just have to wait a smidge longer.

There is also a chance that it might have to wait a bit longer than that. Those in charge of the project happen to live in the path of the last hurricaine, Wilma. Last I heard they might not have phone back for another week or two. They said everything survived the storm, but the power and phone, so at least that's something.

Unfortunately, that is the case. I've been talking with Deb and Sean via text messages and their online access is completely cut off until everything can be restored. In the meantime, they ask for everyone's patience and understand until we can find a way to cheat fate and get this project online ASAP.

Ironic, isn't it? That a project designed to raise money for hurricane victims has been delayed by the impact of another hurricane.

Hey everyone.

We still don't have power, officially, but we do have a stubborn old general that Sean's dad is lending us. We plugged in our cable modem tonight and discovered the internet is alive and well in South Florida. So now for a few hours every night we can get some work done. Generators are very noisy and it's considered bad form if you don't turn yours off by 11pm.

We're very sorry for the delay of SDH,SDT. All of our projects are delayed and we have to adhere to our release schedule as best we can, but since I'm used to putting in several hours of work during the day (and now can't) we're just going to have to move a bit slower. All the art is done, all the editing is done, the only thing left is the last quarter of the layout and the proofing. So we're nearly there.

Anyone who's emailed us with specific questions will be answered some time in the next few days. I'll post more info here when I get it.

(News reports down here have said some people won't get power back til Nov. 22. However, the next street over from us has power, so we're veryveryvery hopeful.)
