With the fighter introductions only minutes away, the MGM Grand is a buzz with excitement. Boxing has been waiting for a day like this for sometime now. Most of the eyes of the sports, celebrity, and entertainment world are staring straight into the lights of Las Vegas.

Lancelot hands a drink to his companion as he slowly spins looking around the arena floor concourse. Of course, arriving fashionably late is still the standard and very few have taken their seats. The agent can't help but think it would be easy to lose someone in this moving, organic crowd.

Inside the VIP parking garage, the last of the limos are droping off various parties. Not a car visual in the garage is within the average american's finanical reach. All of the newest models are spread out. Status symbols on four wheels.

Infinity scans the monitors before him. [OOC: with his solid computing skills getting Quincy's info is a snap. In fact he could take 10 and with his computer skill bonus beat the DC] He relays the plate number to Ferret. 277-SPR. Washington State plates. One nice BMW Roadster.

@ INFINITY AND FERRET: Even tho the VIP garage is pretty much one level, it is rather wide and will take a little time to track down his car if it is here. Nothing of note on the police scanner. Just traffic-related at this point.

@ SHADOW: You begin to make your to the changing room. Past the casino floor. Should be there somewhere like 45 seconds to a minute.

Jed exits the back of the news van to stretch his legs. A nice cool autumn evening in the Nevada desert. The KTNV action news van is parked in what has been labeled satellite truck alley. The nearest van belongs to FOX Sports. A middle aged, slighty overweight man approaches wearing a blue FOX polo.

"Hey. Howya fellas doing tonite? With KTNV huh, Where's Fred? He usually covers events like this."

"Waal Fred picked up a bit of that food poisoning yesterday. He's raising a holy terror in his bathroom about now or so's I'd reckon. You'd be best takin' it from me that you don't want to see him right now. Think it war some bad Chinese or somethin. "

Ferret paces the parking lot, looking for the Roadster while trying not to attract much attention to himself.

"So Infinity, what do we know about the security on Quincy's car? Should I be worried?" he asks quietly.

"Waal Fred picked up a bit of that food poisoning yesterday. He's raising a holy terror in his bathroom about now or so's I'd reckon. You'd be best takin' it from me that you don't want to see him right now. Think it war some bad Chinese or somethin. "

[OOC: Bluff roll... 17... +1 CHA = 18]

"Well [laughs] Fred should've known better. Damn foreign food gets ya every time." The man pats his stomach. "And I know. I have trouble saying 'No' to food. Tell him I hope he feels better. Take it easy. I'd better get back."

Infinity leans back in his chair to see the man walk away. He lets out an audible sigh. Returning his attention back to his assigned task, the computer wiz can see Shadow making his way back security and toward the dressing rooms. Proud of his forged badge passing the test, he takes a look back at the VIP garage.

Ferret moves thru the garage. Nothing. Nothing. And then. One silver BMW Roadster Z4. License plates 277-SPR. Appears all sealed up. Scanning to his right he can see a growing group of limo drivers just chating away killing time. Some still have the engines running. Oddsmakers have given Grant a 3-2 chance with many expecting a swift outcome.

@ INFINITY: Pulling up the garage angles you can see Ferret now near Jackson's car. The place is well-lit and the group of drivers are in view of Ferret and vice versa. There's only one entrance and exit for vehicles but a number of doors to enter the arena and casino/hotel. Outside the entrance of the VIP garage is a posted guard who briefly scans credentials. With some time you could probably even pull up an outside angle looking at his shack and the entrance of the garage.

@ LANCELOT: The rich and famous are gathering. Some are beginning to file toward their wonderful seats. Within 5 minutes Sebastian Von Rul should be introduced and begin his way to the ring.

@ SHADOW: Your trip to Grant's room is nearly complete. When [spot check... rolled a 7 +3 = 10] you barely see a few people leaving Grant's locker room. Not Quincy but about 3 people... business suit types. They are headed away from you. Maybe toward the VIP garage. All you really saw was their backs. However there are two, rather large men remaining guarding Grant's door. NFL Linebacker size men

"So Infinity, what do we know about the security on Quincy's car? Should I be worried?"

"Ither than a standard alarm, not too sure to be honest. It's likely that he has fitted some basic after-sales security devices, electro-shock, stuff like that. The alarm will go off if you do pretty much anything before unlocking the door with the correct car key. The more modern stuff can tell if a door has been forced open or lockpicked rather than unlocked with a key. It may also be rigged so that it goes off when the soft-top is punctured, although that's more difficult to do. I can tell you it definatley would be set off if you started the car without unlocking the doors first."

Infinty spots on the screen the group of limo drivers and points their position out to Ferret just incase he hasn't noticed them. Infinity moves the CCTV cameras so he has sight of as many of the pedestrian doors as possible, keeping on camera on the BMW and another on the entrance/exit.

"So Lance, who're you backing? I heard that Grant is taking it too easy and isn't in the best of shape."

 

[Velmont]

"Three business suit just came out of Grant's room. They are going into the garage, must be VIPs. Ferret, you better take them."

Shadow quickly looks at his disguise. Pretty near the same than the two gorilla, but lack a bit the shape. He walks down to Grant's room, and stop in front of the door, and looks at one of the gorilla.

"A VIP wanted to talk to Johnson. I convince him to talk after the game, but he asked if I couldn't give him this." showing the envellop. "I've check it. Simply a business card and a note, nothing dangerous. Can I enter an give him, I need to go back to my position asap."

OOC: Shadow, disguise as a security agent of the place in tuxedo (the high class agent...) he try to bluff his way in to give the envellop to Jackson.

 

[Festy_Dog]

The corner of Ferret's mouth twitches towards a smile, he always enjoyed a challenge.

"Guess I should explore the avenues open to me before challenging the machine's security," he remarks.

He positions himself with the Roadster between him and the other drivers and casually looks through the window for a sign of the briefcase, also taking this opportunity to admire the car's interior.

 

[Shenanigans]

Lancealot softly speaks into his earpeice as he exchanges nods, handshakes, and pleasentries with the large crowd."I have to back the challanger. He seems to be quite good from the replays of his matches I've seen. Do we know anything about him anyway? It would be terrible for him to kill Grant during the match, because that would throw our whole plan into poor shape."

Shadow enters the Champs locker room. There's about 15 people here. Some music playing. Coming around the corner you see Jackson. Clear as day from the INTEL photos you were provided with. He is on his cell. Over to the right, is the Champ, Damian Grant. Towel over his head he looks to be deep in thought.

Jackson montions Shadow over while continuing his call. The handoff is made and Shadow exits the room. Jackson was holding the envelop in his hand, pointing with it as he continued his call.

Some laughter errupts from the driver pool. Some joke about a blonde and skydiving... well anyhow. Ferret scans the roadster.

[OCC: Electronics roll... a 7... +4 =11]

She's all locked up and nothing is visual within the interior. No briefcase, backpack, or any other container. But Ferret does spot a "standard" anti-theft system on the Z4.

Valeriya bumps into some friends of hers. They seem to be here with banker, big business, and monopoly types. While "SupermodelCon 2004" is being held, Lancelot is alone for a few moments.

Inifinity glances again outside to see Jed keeping a watch over satellite alley. Back to his keyboards, harddrives, and monitors he keeps watch over this organized chaos. One step ahead of Ferret you are able to locate the system Quincy purchased with his credit card a few months ago.

[OOC: computer roll... wow... a natural 20... +10 = 30 a critical success. You can tell the complete layout of a standard factory purchased system. You know everything about the company that makes it. Heck, with a crit you prolly know someone who has/had it and you were able to hone your skills by playing around with it.]

Pulling up the relative info when a couple of screens go fuzzy and flicker. Ok... everything is back to normal.

Dominic walk out of the locker room and start to walk in direction of the VIP garage.

"The bird got the seed. Just confirm with the gigolo when he got a view with our bird. If you see the seeds at the same place than him, it means he got the seed on him.

I'll try to see what our three businessmen are doing. I'll stay alert. If you want me elsewhere, tell it."
