Opinions on Polymorph change

... and I suppose it's certainly also GMs call, whether the polymorphed halfling could act like a titan.

Also, admittedly, I'm no illusion expert, but are there no also touch resistant illusions?

And isn't it much more exciting if you MUST get away in time to recast the spell, as opposed to a permanent polymorph? And you can always try to talk your DM into letting permanancy affect those disguise spells.

By the book, when you touch an illusion that would require a will save. If you fail you still believe the illusion is real.
