Optimus Prime dies

I can't believe Optimus Prime is dead. Well I guess this means Megatron finally won.

Which is a bummer. I pictured ol' Optimus going out in style..... but not prostrate cancer. Gee.... didn't know transformers even had prostrates.... ya learn somethin' new every day...... :heh:

I suppose I can see that, I actually liked Transformers, G.I. Joe, and some of the other cartoons in the early 80's. I guess it's just hard for me to understand why any character would be too sacred to have some fun with.

So am I. Transformers, GI Joe, and Smurfs were my Saturday morning life growing up. :) Not to mention a plethora of other cartoons that came on. But none of that "girly sissy crap" for me! I liked the more action-y cartoons. The Smurfs were about as "girly sissy" as I got..... :p

What, no Jem? I loved that cartoon - it was like a completely overblown soap opera crossed with pop music in an animated Nigel painting with special effects. Kinda like Duran Duran ate Barbie and then threw her back up. Show Time, Synergy!

I had a small collection of the Smurf figures. I remember having Papa Smurf, Smurfette, Jokey, Brainy, Tennis Smurf, and I think a couple of others. I kept them with my California Raisins. :D

General P.S.: Prime can't die. Sorry to all you Decepticreep lovers out there, but Galvatron (Megatron) will be recycled into ashtrays while Prime gets eternal life in the Autobot Matrix. 'Til All Are One. :p

Maybe, but to what is he referring? The original article or subsequent commentary (esp. by Torm)?
If it was about my commentary, I'm not offended - I know I'm goofy. :) But during that time of my life, I was fortunate enough to be able to store away my sanity until I was in a situation where I needed it again - the influences and pressure I was under, there were a LOT worse ways I could've come out than "goofy". :heh:

I don't recall Jem. Never saw it. And, dude, yer weird...... :p

I think I had some Smurf figures too, the immovable vinyl ones. (probably the only ones made...) but I had a few. I don't recall other than maybe having Papa Smurf and Smurfette, maybe a few others...... but then I got kinda ruined on the Smurfs a bit after hearing the "real" story about how the Smurf Village got populated......... :uhoh:

I agree that Prime can't die. No way, no how! This goes under the
nonono.txt
category.
