Order of the Stick #620

Also of importance is the implication that
the party may be reunited and Roy back in the flesh relativly soon

This is a very good thing.

Well there is still the whole V thing that has to be resolved . . . .

Also, was that sending completed or not?

Yeah, I tend to forget about V, he's not really one of my favorite characters.

As for the sending, in #605 we see the cleric 'sending... sending... sending'. Than when we see him again in #610 he casts Remove Curse on Belkar, with no mention that anything had inturupted his Sending. Granted it never says either way but it is implied by not mentioning failure, so for Rich to go back and ret-con that would be incrediably tacky and in poor taste. IMO, of course.

But it also wasn't mentioned if he actually finished the spell. As far as we know he could have gotten halfway or 99% completed before he decided to cast Remove Curse.

Do you think the 10 minute casting time went by from 603 and the timing worked out for him to have a single round after that in 610 before the rogues burst in or do you think it more likely with his employer gone and it looking like the guild about to burst in and kill him he gave up on finishing it and gambled that Belkar was worth reviving?

He did contract to cast the sending though, and for a priest of Loki to break his word and then skip out in the middle of the fight would be . . . ;)
