I voted on the (maybe) 3 categories where I felt I had any sort of knowledge to vote. Left the rest blank. I'm not enough into the "big picture" of gaming to really feel strongly about the Origins awards.

Thats kind of why I asked. When I was going thru the ballots I kept thinking "they have a game for that?" so yeah, there was a total of about 3 or 4 where I felt comfortable enough to cast a vote.

Voted. Skipped a couple catagories as well.

Whats the feeling on voting if you are not familiar with all products in a given catagory? In 1 or 2 catagories I was only familiar with 2 or 3 items, so I voted based on those instead of skipping it entirely. Would you have skipped a catagory if you didn't know most of the items, but were familiar with 2 of them?

I gave d20 the props where deserved, but I am not afriad to admit I am part of the write in campaign.

Yeah I voted for the categories that I was familiar with.

I tried to vote the other day for some music awards on another site and it wouldn't let me leave any categories blank, so I didn't bother voting at all. How silly is that? Why would you want people voting on something that they're not informed at all about?

I voted too. Had to show my love for Freeport and Mutants & Masterminds. Also voted in the minis categories and the periodicals. I felt too uninformed to vote for board games, and I don't care about CCGs.
