Origions

I didn't bring home much swag at all. Probably much more my own fault than anything else. I did win Ruins of Intrigue from the Monte Cook game I played in. And of course the free Crystal Caste 6-sider everyone gets. I really didn't get much time to wander through the dealer hall though. I think the most time I ever had in there was around 30 minutes at any one given time.

Ok, hold on a minute, people are talking about me here.

I'm very sorry about having to postpone my Friday game to Sunday, I would have loved to have seen you. We ran it with great success. I'm sure you understand that I would only cancel in an emergency, and it did involve myself, my wife, and an unexpected hospital visit lasting several hours.

So, unfairly, you've not told me whom you were in the Dance of Hallus!

If you are interested in finding out what you missed from the Myrik Games - Storming the Fire Giant Citadel, I will run the adventure again (locally) at Comic Town in the next couple of months. Feel free to get in touch with me, and I'd be happy to make arrangements to have you join a group for the event.

I second the nomination for Amorphous Blob Games. I have played games with these fine people for the last several years (primarily at Origins) and they are always outstanding. I know that they'll be at GenCon as well, so look them up!

Free stuff - I agree it is way down from previous years. However, there were, as always, terrific deals on gaming stuff galore. I came home with gobs and gobs of the D&D minis as well as a stack of books from the $1, $3, $5, and 50% off bins! Woot!

I saw something like a hardcover anniversary edition of Fudge at the booth, yes.

I didn't pay it much attention, so I *could* be wrong.

I know exactly what you're talking about, I saw the same thing. But also, like you, I didn't give it a real look, so it could have been softcover. I *think* it was hardcover, but I wouldn't bet my soul on it.
