In this case, "marketing" doesn't really apply because the product is free in .pdf form and non-profit in print, so there is no sales motive; and the improvements are indisputably error fixes which make the product legitimately better.

Versions released were 0.01, 0.02, 0.03, 0.04, and -- the first one I was prepared to call complete -- called 1.00. 1.01 includes substantially more content as described earlier.
