&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp Of course, I'll try to watch as many WC2002 games as I possibly can regardless of who's playing (whichever games I can't watch live, I'll try to tape and watch later). But for me, the teams I'll be really following are:

&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp Which team (or teams) will you be following in World Cup 2002? :)

&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp And unfortunately, my boss denied my request to have the next month off from work. :(

Japan all the way. Though it would be cool to see Korea do well also. Meanwhile Scotland has had a rough rough time lately. Which is a shame, they are not totally lacking in talent.

&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp I would have loved to have seen Ukraine in the World Cup as well...

&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp ... but they finished second (behind Poland) in their qualifying group and had to play Germany (who finished second in their group behind Italy) twice, losing in both Kiev and in Bonn. :(

&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp Oh well - there's always 2006! ;)

&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp Also, for those who receive ESPN, don't forget to watch "The Life" on Thursday, 9:30pm PT / Friday, 12:30am ET.

&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp This half-hour show picks an athlete every week (or every two weeks, or whatever its broadcast pattern is) and shows a behind-the-scenes view of him or her.

&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp In lieu of the upcoming World Cup, this week's episode of "The Life" will feature forward Landon Donovan, showing behind-the-scenes (and hopefully some game footage ;) ) views of him with both the San Jose Earthquakes and the U.S. National Team (with whom he's now in South Korea training for his squad's first game against Portugal). :)

The US, Holland and Brazil ?

How about France ? And Argentina ?

And I'm not even a football (sorry, Soccer) fan...

Well It's a shame The Netherlands didn't come through the qualification matches, so I'll be supporting England this time. Although it would be nice if Korea did well also (dutch coach). I doubt whether I'll see a lot of matches, the y manged to schedule the tournament exaxtly in my test-periods !

Holland and Scotland didn't make it this year (and as a Scottish-American, that hurts to say), which is too bad since I generally root for those teams.

I would love to see Portugal do well this year, they play really attractive football and aren't one of the usual suspects. As an Inter Milan fan, I suppose I have to root equally for Brazil (Ronaldo), Italy (Vieri), and Uruguay (Recoba) as well.

DENMARK, of course. And believe you me they are capable of surprises.

I guess I'll support Sweden, as well, since I have so many good swedish friends, most of them Djurgården supporters, some AIK, hmmm, contradictions I know.

And for all those who say: "My country didn't make it.", well I guess they weren't good enough.
