Go USPS!

That's the ONLY time you'll hear me say that. I hate going to the post office.

And who says cycling is for 5'7" skinny guys?

Us 6'5" 225 pounders love the sport too ya know...

It's just too bad that no road events (that I’ve found anyway) have the Clydesdale class. I guess all of my racing will have to stay off road.

Would be damn nice for Lance to win again, but what I’m also really interested in is how Floyd Landis will do this year. It was his 1st Tour last year & he came in 50th…

Well Ullrich isn't exactly out, but he is coming off a suspension, the first team he signed with went bankrupt and had to be reformed as another team, and his girlfriend had a baby yesterday (though that could be a positive thing). I'd still be inclined to give him the nod (he's never finished lower than second) but he has said himself that he doesn't think he has the form to be a GC contender, and is just looking for stage wins.

Oh, is Ullrich in the race? I usually update myself on these things when the race starts, so I had lost track. Still, sounds like he'll not be a contender. What about Kivilev?

I hate to be the one to have to tell you this but Kivilev died this year in a crash during Paris-Nice. :~(

We've got a couple of hill climbs here in Utah that have a Clydesdale class.

As far as Landis, goes I think he has a real future ahead of him, but he fractured his hip in January so although he recovered enough to get the last slot, I don't think this will be his breakout year.

Ooops, actually, I do remember that.

Sorry to any Kivilev fans out there.

Anyway, I do plan to be in front of my tv for the start of the race Saturday.

I'm French, I like bicycle riding, but I'm never interested in sportive events, tour de France included.

In fact, there are [edit] three things I reproach to that competition.

The first is that it's more about pharmacetics than about cycling.

The second, little known, thing, is that it was created by an anti-dreyfusard.

The third, that I nearly forgot, is that the current organisators of cycling events are blocking all innovations in the bicycle sector. They only accept the same old classic bike, while more efficient designs have been made (the speed record with a non-conventionnal bike is 130 km/h!). And because of them, we don't see these new, better bikes in stores. Grrr.

BTW I was sorry to hear that you're not going to be at GenCon, I was looking forward to meeting you.

We'll make that happen another time, I am sure. Thanks for the sentiments. :)
