I agree that most telemarketers are annoying, but it is rarely the fault of the telemarketer himself.

You show me the monsters who keep the gun to their heads- and force them to do this, and I will stand by you as we put a stop to it.

Until then- I will hold people responsible for their behavior. Regardless of the fact that they are getting paid for it or not.

And as was also said... no one makes you watch television. Don't like the adds, don't watch television. But I _AM_ forced to have a telephone. And, as a result, forced to deal with unwanted harassment. I cannot simply refuse to have a telephone.

See, the thing is being forced to do it or not has nothing to do with it. I maintain that there is nothing that makes you scum working at a telemarketing firm.

See, I prefer not to prejudge people, you apparently have no problem with that. So go ahead, pass judgement on people you've never met and most likely talked to once.

See, the thing is being forced to do it or not has nothing to do with it.

It does to the argument that we should hold the companies responsible, and not the telemarketer themself.

I use constant discrimination in my life. Otherwise- I would not be able to tell a good choice from a bad one. A right decision from a wrong decision.

If you are saying I am not a relativist that believes everyone should do what they want and thats all ok with the world, then you are right. I am not like that, and I have no problem with that.

The moment someone enters my life- by force or by chance, then I reserve the right to pass judgement on them.

Because, in this case their profession defines their behavior.

The behavior is offensive, and that comments on the people who would partake in it.
