[OT] Happy Thanksgiving or, what we have to be thankful for.

I'm heading out in just a bit to spend a few days with my husband's (huge) family for the US Thanksgiving holiday. I thought it might be nice, and in the spirit of the season, for any of us who feel the urge to have a place to say what we have to be thankful for. I'll start

My husband.
My good job, that enables me to buy the stuff I need and want.
My dog.
My husband's family, who welcomed me in from the very beginning, and treat me better than my own family ever did.
Especially my mother-in-law, who has never, in the 15 or more years I've known her, said an unkind word to me, or criticised me in any way.
The internet!
And finally, this community, and therefore Morrus, who gives it to us.

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone, and I'll see you on Sunday!

My two kids are healthy, bright and a joy to be around.
My lovely wife, for her patience, understanding and the fact that she never complains when I buy a D20 hardcover book.
My family for their undying support through the years.
My friends, what a great gang.

I'm thankful that I'm still alive.
I'm thankful that although I've been through a lot in my life, I haven't lost my sense of humor.(though it HAS gotten a bit darker)

I'm VERY thankful for indoor plumbing.
I'm thankful for my computer.
I'm thankful that at least in my dreams I am healthy.

I am thankful for my wife and my kids, my job, my church, my country, my freinds, my games and my books, my cats, my car, my house, my food, my parents, my minis, my sense of humor, my in-laws and my health.

I am also thankful (in a more general sense) for fireplaces and music, fantasy and reality, happiness and laughter, short stories, long novels, a million different foods i have yet to taste and thousands I have already sampled, free time, jobs well done, can openers that work, snuggly blankets and house slippers, plush cthulhu, stormy nights, tumbleweeds, well painted pictures, and Romance in all its many forms.

Above all I am thankful for my God who I thank daily for it all.
