I don't mean to be rude or anything, but try to keep things in perspective.

Well let’s see, theirs breaking and entering, kidnapping (3 accounts), possible attempted rape (someone more law friendly people would have to say rather or not threatening someone with rape is consider a crime of some magnitude. assault with a deadly weapon (3 counts), attempted murder (1 count, the other two was tried up)

And they managed to do all these crimes in less than a few hours…

They got what was coming to them, but it’s a shame one got away unscathed…

Knife fights are ugly. Kudos to him that he won several of them.

And always the same old story... martial artist defends himself successfully (in this case even against armed baddies) and goes to jail.

I can't help but think of that episode of Married, With Children where Al beat up a burglar in his house and then got sued by said burglar. All I can say is the man only killed two of them. I'd say if he was trying to be excessive he would have killed them all. While I don't like to see anyone die, I'd say that the two he killed were purely out of self-defense.

And I wish I had a cool nickname like "the Doctor". Only knickname I ever get is "Smitty".
