If plan B falls through, I'll take up ThomasBJJ's offer as plan C, I think. Let someone else do all the legwork, and offer me the chance of getting rid of it all.

Darn... there goes my chance to pick up all the back issues of Dungeon I wish I had kept... oh well.Heretic Apostate said:If plan B falls through, I'll take up ThomasBJJ's offer as plan C, I think. Let someone else do all the legwork, and offer me the chance of getting rid of it all.![]()
If you have to FORCE the darn collection on someone (I presume it will be a "here, take it, it's free"), hey, I'll pay for all the shipping costs... just slap labels on it and ship it on down this way.Heretic Apostate said:Okay, plan B fell through. On to plan C. (If plan C fails, I might just see if I can find someone local, and FORCE the darn collection on them....)

Let's be real here - you're likely not going to pay off a car or your student loans on your gaming collection. If there is money to be had, it will be in those few very rare and collectable items - those are worth hawking on EBay.
The rest, well, there are plenty of used book stores all over, and some game stores take in credit. Honestly, and no offense to those involved in offering, I wouldn't feel too comfortable handing my collection over for someone else to sell for me.
I can't imagine anyone buying the whole lot sight unseen. Bundles of related gear, maybe, but going the auction route for your high ticket items and then either unloading the rest for minimal $$$ or just outright keeping it would be the way I'd go, if I could bear to part with any of my games...
