That picture looks just like Storm Shadow, except red. *shrug* Interesting nonetheless.

That's because many figures were recolored when released overseas. Same mold as Stormshadow, just different colors.

I always thought Storm Shadow joined Cobra to find out who killed his master or something like that. Or that is what I got from the few comics I had.

And that impression is absolutely right, AK!! Eventually, he gave up trying to seek vengeance and joined the Joes.

Storm Shadow wasn't so much evil as he was non-good. He opposed Snake Eyes, who trained under the same master as he. But, Storm Shadow probably would have turned on Cobra given the right opportunity.
