[OT] If you HAD to put yourself in a core class in real life you would be...

Ranger, because everyone thinks they know what's wrong with me and how to fix it, and nobody minds spewing that opinion. Plus I'm great with animals and killing my 'special' enemies.... um, forget I said that killing part Hal, ok?

If picking a dream class that would function in real life I'd most like to be:
Cleric. For above-mentioned reasons of being able to heal, cure disease, and raise dead. If I could pick domains I'd pick Luck and Travel.

If I found myself transformed into D&D like Flyn was transformed into a computer in Tron I'd pick:
Paladin. Tough, immune to disease, can heal, good Charisma powers, divine grace lets you Save vs. the real scary stuff--it's no wonder that this class is immune to Fear.

If I were to describe my real life self in terms of a core class I'd be:
Rogue, with the feats TWF and Weapon Focus: Rapier

Because in our world: Magic don't work, Clerics/Paladins just molest young boys, Fighters/Barbarians would get arrested for running around with swords in the street, Rogues are called "criminals" end in raped in prison, Druids are all hippie freaks, and Rangers are get paid like $19k a year to wander around national parks.

ROFLMAO :D

I'd definitely be a wizard, bookish and all. I wanna be a munchkin, though, so I think I better start my martial training. I want to kick ass with magic AND a sword.

Starman

Using my attributes as a guideline, I'd say I'm mostly Intellect, with a touch of strong charisma, and maybe a guideline of wisdom. Since the only core class that depends solely on intelligence for their primary methods is the Wizard, I'd fall in that slot, but if not, try Paladin/Bard/Sorcerer, and if not those, Cleric.

Oh, if we're talking dream classes, I'd be a first level sorcerer with charm person as my only spell.

I actually had this discussion with a friend of mine once. Imagine what one could get away with in this country with the charm person spell.

Rogue, I think. I'm not physically strong enough to be a fighter and too atheist to be a cleric, not outdoorsy enough to be a druid and too lazy to be a high level wizard. My charisma... well the less said about that the better , ( though I am quite good looking) so no sorcerer for me. On the other hand I'm a sneaky lying coward (but in a good way :D) and I'm quite proficient in backstabbing so Rogue would suit me fine, possibly with a few levels of Wizard and Arcane Trickster, just because.

Core class eh?

Cleric I think, While I have a fairly have Int (or so people tell me) I am not the scholarly type.

I am the guy everyone comes to with the moral questions and when they need back up in a rough spot.

In D20 Modern I would be a little of all of them, mostly smart, charismatic and dedicated levened with tough
