What? Me Worry?
I like the Indy films, but I've never quite understood why they're as popular as they are. There isn't anything wrong with them, it's just that there are, let's see, 4 Spielberg films that I like better: CE3K, Jaws, Duel, and Jurassic Park. The first Indy movie would be the fifth.
I'm glad Spielberg has decided to do the film, though. After Schindler's List, he talked about how he couldn't see himself doing "popcorn" films again, and then went through a period where most everything he did was grim - even JPII, which ranks as one of the biggest disappointments I've had going to the movies; it was so dark and mean-spirited.
Personally, I wish Lucas had had him direct one of the Star Wars films.
