[OT] I've got my movie tickets...how about you?

Seven days and just over thirty minutes from now, the lights will go down and LotR The Two Towers will open on the giant screen before me and my gaming buddies.

We will be sitting in a brand-spanking new movie theater that has only been open for a few weeks, and offers beer to its patrons along with the popcorn, candy, and other various foodstuffs.

Yep, I'm ready!! How about you?!?

Our group will be eight also...but no tables for us, just stadium style seating. At least we're finally catching up to some European countries and serving beer in selected theaters !!

To celebrate, I even dusted off my old "Evil Clown" avatar, which I was using during the period surrounding Fellowship of the Ring's premier and subsequent media frenzy.

And for me this movue will be especially sweet, since I get to see myself represented on the big screen with Treebeard and my other Entish brethren!

My friend works at the theatres so he got everyone he knows + all our gaming people tickets for the opening showing (12 midnight on tuesday!!!) It's gonna be great!

December 18th, first showing (around 11:00 am or so), me and several of my friends are going to witness the awesome spectacle that is The Two Towers.

I'm also going to a 12:01 showing. This has the added advantage that the local gaming store arranged the event. So, everyone who will be at the show got them through a gaming store. Last year it was a great atmosphere, I expect the same this year.
