(OT) Late-night munchies

Well, I am a lifter and work out constantly. Therefore when I have the late night munchies, I normally have a protien shake. Yeah, I know, most people think they taste bad. But I have tried lots and lots of different ones on the market and the one I use tastes a lot like chocolate milk. And it normally fills me up... If I crave something sweet and the protein shake is not gonna cut it cause I need carbs, Edy's makes a Sorbet of fresh fruit, Rasberry is my favorite and that doesnt have any fat in it. Or even those Jelly Beans that Starkist puts out. Those things are pure crack!!!!!

But, if I am not so concerned about what I eat, I like Ben n' Jerrys, PBJ, Grilled Cheese. Basically whatever is handy... Not so picky after eating all the so called "health" food.

Taco Bell all the way, man!

Although I'm actually more likely to just scrounge around for something in the house. Microwave popcorn, some Tostito's chips and salsa (from the 24-hour grocery store, if worse comes to worst) whatever bag of chips or pretzels is already open, that kind of thing.

a u.f.o. from the local high 'n' handy, for those of you who have never lived in "the land of cotton" a u.f.o. is 2 of the best oatmeal cookies you have ever had, wrapped around excellent vanilla ice cream, dipped in very rich chocolate.......well, that does it, gotta go!

By Elminster Aumar's Hoary Beard, that sounds good!

I live in the south, and I've never heard of that! And now, I'm sorry I had... dinner's several hours away. :(

I usually get one of Jack in the Box's many chicken sandwiches, a three-piece order of egg rolls and a Super Quencher-size Dr Pepper.

Good Lord, Shadowdancer! My arteries are hardening just reading that post!

Me, I try to take good care of my arteries. So when I have the late-night munchies, it's red wine all the way for me.

Late nite munchie options:
Taco Bell -- I used to love their 10 pack of tacos.
Burger King -- a couple of double cheeseburgers usually does the trick.
Chocolate chip cookie dough -- homemade or Pillsbury, yum yum.
When in Chicago -- 2 pound burritos from Fast Super Burrito...no night after local parties or the club scene is complete without this hangover preventative!!
Cookie sandwiches from Melting Moments -- These originated in East Lansing (home of the Spartans), and are made from a healthy portion of delicious vanilla ice cream nestled between two large, homemade, chocolate chip cookies. Absolutely amazing, and now available at a very select few grocery stores in my area.
