(OT) Mouseferatu isn't dead yet!!

Hey, all. Dunno if anyone noticed, but I haven't posted in well over a month, now. And it's going to be a while before I'm back regularly, but I figured--for anyone who's missed me (both of you)--that I'd tell you what's up.

I have been dealing with a hideous case of Tendonitis in two of my fingers. Medications haven't worked completely, although they've eased it. It's so bad, I actually start a three-week course of physical therapy tomorrow. :(

Anyway, because I can only type a very little bit each day (the most frustrating thing in the world for a writer, let me tell you) and I'm this close to falling behind on my deadlines at my current reduced rate, I haven't been keeping up with my online communities. I just can't afford to do all that extraneous typing at the moment.

So there it is. I hope everyone's doing all right, and I'll be back regularly just as soon as I can actually get back to my regular level of typing.

Welcome back, Mouse...Sorry to hear about your typing deprivation, though. I'm a writer, too, and I can't imagine how I'd cope.

I just figured you were getting over a Texas sized hangover ;)

Have you considered the ancient typing art of "Hen Pecking"? I would guess there are many masters on these boards you could apprentice under.

I am imagining you gesturing with your feet rather than your fingers. ;)

I hope your therapy goes quickly and you return to the fold soon! :)

Sure we've missed you Mouse!

Sorry to here about the tendonitis, and I hope that you get the relief from pain you need (though if you do i will be jealous as another pain sufferer who hasn't got relief :( )

Hope we hear from you soon

Tendinitis sucks sphincter. My condolences. As a chronic sufferer, I'd almost rather break a bone.

I wish you a speedy recovery. Don't let the pain swamp you and stretch, stretch, stretch.

Greg

A writer who cannot type is in a sad place.
Have you considered some voice recognition software? There are a number of very good packages out there to help folks who cannot type.
