What, how did he look hurt to you? His only injury was to his right ankle and he moved around fine during the game.

I could buy an argument about him being rusty after missing two months, I likely wouldn't agree, but he isn't "obviously hurting."

If the Eagles run the ball the on Sunday the way they did in week seven they will win the game, because in the end they are the better over all team.
He had the one run when they were pinned down near their own end zone at the beginning, but other than that he didn't run at all. Also, the entire second half he was being very careful on his legs, walking around slowly, not running out to the huddle. He always plays hard in the games I have seen him in but it looked to me that he was not at full strength.

He can run on it and has mobility but he's less likely to take off than he was before the injury. Just didn't look 100% to me. Plus, they only managed one offensive touchdown. I still think that if the Eagles are going to win the Super Bowl, he has to play better. Based on the performance of the Eagles last 2 games, their offense has not looked good against both the Falcons or Giants. And Tampa's D is better than both of those teams.

And yeah, I agree, if the Eagles get a decent ground game the Bucs are toast.

And as for my "obviously hurting" comment, I know many folks will disagree with me, but that's what makes this fun: all of our varied opinions and takes on the games.

THis is a good reason, thanks for the clarification. I still don't buy it, but I see where you're coming from now. I'd still say it has more to do with sitting for two months than any naggin injury.

Even if you're right I still don't think it matter because of the run you mentioned shows he can move when he needs to and as with any injury it doesn't matter if it hurts only if it hurts so much that you cna't do what you have to when the time comes.

Well the Eagles have had trouble against the Giants for the last four or five years, Donovan's the only reason they won three of the last four. The Falcons D is better than I realized before the game against the Eagles.

Ultimately this game is a toss up and I'm giving the advantage toe Philly because they're at home and slight advantages on offense and special teams that will give them one or two plays that will turn the game in their favor.

Yeah, Atlanta showed some spunk on D this year. They beat the Giants without Vick (the Giants weren't as good as they were at season's end) and gave the Eagles a good fight.

I think Philly is the better team and would win in this situation 9 times out of 10. I'm just pickin' the Bucs this Sunday based on their Defense and McNabb's rustiness/recovery. It's just unfortunate that I'll be stuck watching highlights because I'm working all Sunday. :( I want to watch the games this weekend. I may tape the Eagles game, not sure yet...

Ooh, to bad. You made sure to have off for the SB, right?

I finally heard someone who agrees with you about McNabb being hurt, Tony Siragusa.

There's near unanimity amoung the ESPN analysts for predictions on the games.

Nope, but I can tape it and watch it when I get home like I did last year. I'm a supervisor and don't really have a backup for Sundays. If my team was playing I'd probably try and get it off, but it's too much of a hassle otherwise. :(

Ah, neat. It's me and him, then. LOL :)

Yeah, no one is giving the Bucs a shot. And based on history there is no reason why they should.

I have to go with Eagles vs Raiders at the SB. I would love to see Tampa go, but they have really bad luck in the championship game . . and crap in cold weather, so I don't think they will win. And as much as I hate the raiders, I'm not so sure if the titans secondary will be able to control the raiders passing game . . it's just to damn good. When it comes down I think the eagles will win it in a fairly low game as well. Say 24 to 21. Thats my 2 coppers anywho . .
