(OT?) Soundtrack: LOTR-The Two Towers

I got mine today for 12.00 (w/ tax) at Walmart, and am in the Chicago-Land Area.

It is FANTASTIC.

It's an excellent soundtrack that gets better the more you listen to it. I especially like the tracks "Evenstar", "Forth Eorlingas", "Foundations of Stone", and "Samwise the Brave".

Hey, quick question here for you owners of The Two Towers soundtrack. Y'know in the music in the latest version of the TTT movie trailer? Is that music a part of one the tracks on the TTT soundtrack? I hope so.

Hmm, dunno which is the part used during that trailer. Anyways, they recorded about 4 hours of music for the movie and the Soundtrack is about 72 minutes long - so most definitely not everything will have made it onto that CD.

The CD is really good IMHO, BUT ...

Why did they have to make me think of Gollum wearing a Tuxedo?
I mean, the Gollum Song sounds like a James Bond Theme, doesn't it? "My name is Gollum and i have the license to be after the ring!" No, somehow this one doesn't fit into the overall style of music, sorry!

No, that music is taken and reorchestrated from the soundtrack to Requiem For a Dream.

I think it's a good soundtrack. However, I never really appreciate a soundtrack until I see the film. Same this with the Fellowship soundtrack.
