(OT) Tsyr, where are you from????

Hocus Pocus

Yeah, Hocus pocus is the place to go. I think I am the one who keeps him in business. I spend WAY to much money there! lol

He did open up a gaming area. He plays as well. It is just too darn busy in the summer for all of us though. So, we end up playing in the fall and winter. Have you ever entered the mini-painting contest eh has there every year?

And, nice to know there are a few more people from this neck of the woods playing and actually online here!

I dunno... I spend alot of money there too! Last week I spent almost 100 dollars on stuff...

Also hit B.Dalton's in the Grand Traverse mall, and Borders across the street from it... only decent places I know of to get stuff. Any others that a native would be able to tell me about? I know you can get used stuff at some comic & card shop... Bottom of the Nineth, or something like that... But that's about it.

I've entered his contest the last two years... I really only started hitting his place heavy in the last two years or so, since I entered college. Last year was an elven archer from Chainmail, I forget what I did the year before. Got a great one planned for this year too.

He actualy invited me to game down there with him...The invitation still stands as far as I know, but it's a long drive to game, and I'm normaly only free Fridays and Saturdays anyhow. (The invitation was for Wensday or Thursday, as I recall).

You know, I've seen alot of people in there, it's actualy quite possible we've seen each other... Uh... If you just ask everyone there is he's named Dave Weaver, you might get lucky someday. :) If you see an overweight guy in his early twenties with mid-length black/brown hair, probably wearing a shirt with a dragon on it somewhere*, a leather jacket (If it's in the cooler months), and glasses, that's me. Hell, I'm gonna be there fri or sat this week too, so... *shrug*. Be nice to actualy meet an EN-ite.

*: No, I don't only wear one shirt. But I only HAVE one or two shirts that do NOT have a dragon on it. So your odds are pretty good it will have a dragon on it.
