[OT] Vin Diesel speaks like a Half-orc!

I was watching Conan o'Brian and Vin Diesel spoke of his D&D days. And even said a line from his Half-orc character!

According to him, there was a tattoo of his in Triple X that was the name of his Drow Character, Malcoren [edit: or something], who was double specialized...

I know that he's said this before in a Mag somewhere... but still...

And when discussing his drow witch hunter, he pronounced 'drow' as rhyming with 'cow' so THERE!

He said he played, past tense, for 24 years so did he stop playing recently? He should have threatened to kick Conan's butt when he predictably entered his nerd voice to mock D&D players, but oh well.

I think so too... but 24 years! The guy is 36 years old... that's since 12 or something!

That was particularly awesome and I did see that interview. I don't think he intended to be the mainstream posterboy for D&D though but kudos to him for not trying to hide it like its something "nerdy" to be embarassed about like Conan was making it out to be.

Vin probably doesn't have too much time to play these days - he's got to do alot of traveling to promote his movies - plus shooting on location.

it'd be kinda hilarious if he set up game with the other actors in each of his movies, director included.

Imagine this: Director doesn't like the way Vin does a dive-across-chasm-filled-with-pungee-sticks stunt in some random scene. Direcot wants Vin to redo said stunt several dozon times till perfect. Vin threatens to afflict Director's character with a life-threatening curse. Director shuts up.
