[OT] What sport do you Play?

I play baseball, bowl, and target shoot. (both short distance and long distance, plus CAS, but no 1,000 yard competitions though)

I used to play basketball all the time, but not so much anymore, now that I'm out of school.

Sometimes if you find an Art that's close you can transfer your skills with little problem.

Thanks, MR. Yeah, I've tried a few places around here. There's some great people, but nothing quite for me (you know just what I mean).

Ya, Taekwon Do (ITF) is indeed my thing, I just got my first degree Black belt last month .

Congratulations! No small achievement, I know.

You could also try asking Aikido Schools if they know of anyone, as the weapons training in Aikido is based partly on Katori Shinto Ryu.

Indeed it is. Sugino Sensei and Morihei Sensei trained together often as Morihei Sensei was putting together the "bits" of Aikido. Sugino dojo teaches Aiki as well as KSR.

Cricket and footy!!

I used to play a bit of indoor cricket, and played a little bit for my school. I never really played at a district level, though I did consider going to England and playing there for a while - I should have been able to slip straight into the national team I expect.

I play a lot of pool and a little bit of billiards and pool, and have always enjoyed a bit kick to kick with the footy (Aussie rules of course)

Paintball here, get to go for the first time in six + months on Sat. Trying to get back in to soccer, but not sure if I'll make it before the weather gets rainy for 5 months.
