[OT] Who uses Winamp and likes Vanilla Coke?

Vanilla Coke ... Yieeeeww! No thanks .... goes straight into the bin where Pepsi Blue lies already; the one labelled "Bad lab attempts".

Ask me and I'll tell you that the only drink we enjoy around the gaming table is good ol' Classic Coke! HU YA!

I dunno ... it seems like all these new flavors are being churned out by the labs: Pepsi Twist, Vanilla Coke, Pepsi Blue, Mellow Yellow etc. They gain popularity because, yeah .... I dunno. It's always interesting to try something new, but so many of them cannot last 8 hours of gaming. Only Coke Classic.

It's worth pointing out that vannila soda is by no means a new idea.

Mello Yello has also been around the US for quite some time... it's just recently gotten a marketing push in Canada. I don't knkow if that meant it got a bigger push in the States as well.

I use winamp, and love vanilla coke, but that skin, like most skins, just seems garish and hard on the eyes.

Hmmm ... I guess the Mellow Yellow comment proves where I have been over the summer.

Any of those I will drink gladly, in vast quantities.

Vannila Coke, either flavor of Rootbeer, or Mellon Ramune all make good ice-cream floats.

I realize that I come from a soda-fountain rich part of the world, so this may not be common knowledge, but vanilla coke has been around for many years. Not as a mass-marketed, bottled drink, of course, but just as real as a chocolate malt or vanilla phosphate.

Just put a nice big dollop of vanilla syrup in a glass, fill the glass with fountain coke and give it a gentle stir. Voila! Vanilla coke.

And my liquor of choice with vanilla coke is Bourbon.

Likewise... I'd been drinking vannila coke for a long time... the movie theater in Macinaw City (About 40 miles north of me) has a great fountain drink thing going on... Vannila Coke is one of their most popular items.
