Pelosan Emperor First Post Aug 20, 2002 #5 My favorite has to be Fionavar, although I have enjoyed all of his books. The Saratine Mosaic duology contained a scene that really captured my imagination: the final chariot race. I swear that I could hear the crowd! PE

Savage Wombat Hero Aug 20, 2002 #6 Caverns of Socrates was one of his, wasn't it? It's been a while since I read him. He's good, but he's so derivative at times. Plus he stole my "the gods made sunlight fatal to cleanse the earth of evil" idea.
