A mangled mess that tried to cash in on the CTHD phenomenon. Ended up bombing in the Box Office. You can already find it on VCD and DVD.

I saw this either one a rented tape or at the theatre and I was not impressed. Special effects should be used to enhance a movie, not be the movie. And the effects didn't impress me at all, it was so obvious and not well done.

Is this a remake of "Zu Warriors of the Magic Mountain", a classic of the genre.

Does a bit of research.... hmmm same director, but different writing credits. Hmmm the director seems to have tried his hand at writing this time.

If I was you and interested in this stuff I would watch Zu Warriors of the Magic Mountain (1983), not this modern one.

I dunno, I kinda like it.

Was it really to cash in on CTHD... It's NOT like they don't make these kinds of movies in HK often... It actually reminds me more of "Storm Riders"... and the effects... though effect-sy just show (to me) that they are trying to portray a very different place and time. *shrug*
