Thursday night I got in a good hard session. Three circuits of dumbbell bench, inclined curls, and skull crushers, with drop sets on the bench and curls, three sets of overhead shoulder press with drop sets, and three sets of face pulls. Had some good tricep and upper back soreness subsequently, which felt productive.

Over the weekend I got up a small mountain and brought my brother for the first time, which was awesome, though I got too little sleep Saturday night and am missing a good workout on Sunday. Onward.

Last night I did three circuits of dumbbell bench, inclined curls, and lateral raises, with drop sets. Then three sets of machine triceps extensions with drop sets.

Having no luck getting motivated in the mornings for my lower body/core work lately. I want to get back to that, but I'm cutting myself some slack given how much energy is going to dealing with other critical life stuff.
 




Monday - Chest stuff, yep.
Tuesday - Good legs day, yep.
Wednesday - Back was decent, only 45 on the dips, shoulder feels great today.
Thursday - Legs, tweaked (tore/stressed/pulled?) something in my ankle on calf raises, 3rd exercise. Hobbled through the rest.

Time to consume supplements and let the body heal thyself.

My right shoulder has been bothering me a bit, but I wasn't an obstruction at the gym last night.

Dumbbell benches were all occupied when I got there, so did four sets and a warmup set of machine pec flies, then three sets of inclined dumbbell curls with drop sets and some bonus slow eccentrics on the left side when it couldn't match the right for reps, and finished with a couple of hard sets of machine overhead press.

Now my biceps have some good soreness and my triceps feel neglected (the triceps machine I favor kept being occupied, and I didn't want to aggravate my shoulder with dumbbell skull crushers), so I might go back tonight to hit triceps and a couple of other exercises.
