In fact that's my latest pondering. My elbows, just putting them on a table after my upper body workouts, hurt. Really sensitive.

I don't know what to do about that lol
I use compression elbow sleeves on most upper body exercises, and I use knee wraps for presses/squats. That seemed to help. I've also lightened my loads and upped my reps in general. Cutting down volume and using drop sets also seems to have done wonders.

This helps me too when I’m in trouble.

Also capsaicin rub is wonderful. And stupid “dangerous” too, lol.

Getting the joint scraped I assume. Cleans out rough spots, calcium, stuff like that?

I need it on both knees and shoulder, but specialist doctors didn't recommend I do it.
Yes. That’s it. There is a lot of snake oil involved. To me it’s like a dull blade edge deep tissue massage. Dunno what it is but I feel tons better after.

Could be a lot of placebo or even pain response.

I do feel better sooner too

Oh I believe in it. I have always just had other issues structurally that would make it a poor choice.

Pet peeve time to a couple of anonymous people at my gym:

1) I’m really glad that you’ve learned about supersets but taking over two high demand stations at a busy time because you saw a YouTube video that said you must do these two precise exercises (did you notice that video was probably not filmed in a busy gym?) is really damn selfish.

2) Recovery time between sets is super important to getting a good workout in, I get it. But you are doing what I’m guessing is 65% to 70% of what your max is, and then you’re spending the next four minutes surfing Instagram, thereby taking up a station for 15 to 20 minutes and you’re basically half-assing it. Do some free weights instead. You won’t be holding anyone up then.

But in the joints? I had a bit of Graston-style scraping done in PT, with one of those dull blade tools, but it was muscular/fascial release work, not to a joint.
