Earlier today, I had the operation that took out the lump on my vocal cords, and also fiddled around with one of my tonsils. General anesthetic. Cool. I'm a little wobbly on my legs and a bit woozy at present - it's only a couple of hours since I woke up. At least I'm home.
Exactly what the situation is, apart from I've had the operation, I don't know. Next Monday I'll see the surgeon, and he can tell me the damage - especially if the lump was benign or not.
I'm extremely grateful I'm not DMing this Friday (I hope Adam's ordered the adventure), but I'm not quite sure of the status of Sunday's session yet. I'll work that out later when I have an idea of how my voice is going and how much it hurts to speak.
There was a nice present in the mail, though: the latest RPGA DM rewards. 3 Celestial Giant Stag Beetles (repaints) and the Flame Strike/Lightning Sphere templates. Just wish I knew where a couple of issues of Dragon & Dungeon magazines were.
