Wish I had fancy footwork; I'm not going to be much use in this fight unless I can get outside the cage/dead magic zone. CB, I can see both maps, though on my mobile they're both the same size! Stuff in spoiler tags some times doesn't work though. Hopefully I'll be back home before my turn..

Sometime after 11 pm last night, I discovered I was utterly unable to load pages on the site. Kept getting the dreaded Gateway Error 504 message. Which meant I threw up my hands in disgust, gave up, and went to bed without adjudicating Solace's combat turn. Or without posting a journal entry. I've done the journal entry this morning (couldn't sleep), but adjudicating Solace's turn needs to wait.

Busy day today and tomorrow.

^ Yes. The results of Solace's turn may change what Brinn wants to do and/or is able to do. I'm waiting for KS to declare an action now that I've supplied answers to his OOC questions.

K'nyr should already be inside the gate, inside the cell. I think you pose a really interesting question about whether the Shove action can be used to "pull" or "spin" a foe. I'm without my PHB today, but this is what the 5e Basic Rules .pdf says about Shove:

PHB said:
Using the Attack action, you can make a special melee
attack to shove a creature, either to knock it prone or
push it away from you. If you’re able to make multiple
attacks with the Attack action, this attack replaces
one of them.

The target of your shove must be no more than one
size larger than you, and it must be within your reach.
You make a Strength (Athletics) check contested by the
target’s Strength (Athletics) or Dexterity (Acrobatics)
check (the target chooses the ability to use). If you win
the contest, you either knock the target prone or push
it 5 feet away from you.

So, thinking that through, the language says "push [the creature] away from you." The text doesn't explicitly state that the direction the target is pushed need be "away" from the pusher in a forward vector. Other than the title, "Shoving a Creature," and the cultural context we tend to bring when we read the word "shove," there's nothing in the text that alludes to any sort of directional vector at all. All we get is "away from you," and away from you could be forward, but it could also be to the side or even behind you (though the latter is probably the least reasonable of the three interpretations). In fact, the text is silent on the issue of direction. So we can do what we want. I usually opt for what I think is reasonable. Or fun. Oftentimes, fun trumps all. Because this is a game, and not The Law.

Going back to K'nyr's position, he's already inside the gate and inside the cell. The gate opens inward, into the cell. I think Brinn could shove K'nyr into BI85, BJ86, or BJ87 (it's a half square, but I'll allow a medium creature to occupy it). Also, note the spiderwebs lining the open chasm on the map. It could be that if Brinn shoved K'nyr forward off the cliff and into the webs, the webs might catch K'nyr (if he were to pushed off the cliff), or he could fall through the webs to the chasm floor 100' below. Or be caught and stung to death by a giant spider. That would be poetic.

Also remember that Kago has a shove action readied whenever someone initiates combat, whether that be Brinn or Solace. If Solace starts, then I guess it'll be a race. If Brinn does, well I guess you can twirl him into the cell and I can knock him on his ass.

Or something... ;)
