Outsiders mop the floor with spellcasters

In a game I'm in at the moment, research is our speciality. We know we'll be facing a powerful evil fey, a vampire (and possibly vampire minions), and an ancient demon somehow related to cold and water.

All of which would be really, really useful to know if the battle wasn't going to be tonight, giving us no time to prepare specialised spells. We found out about this earlier in the evening... our spell loadouts were picked for a day relaxing in the city, not fighting undead and demons!

We were at a party!

All I'm asking for is eight hours' sleep and an hour to prepare before we have to save the world

Surviving spellcasters should contact the Arcane Order about joining up. The spellpool was made for situations like this. (But yeah, you always need to leave slots empty -- you didn't need a full spell selection for relaxing in the city!)
