Pathfinder 1E P5/Beginner Box - Chaining Feats as Prestige Paths (classes)?

First Post
Hey,

I am no d20/3.0/3.5/Pathfinder expert, but I LOVE Pathfinder Beginner Box and I love E6, so the P5 mentality makes me very happy.

Someone on rpg.net suggested doing Prestige Classes as instead Prestige Paths using the Bonus Feats for every 5,000xp gained after lvl 5.

I have NO IDEA how to do this and was hoping someone could point me in the right direction or show me how it is done.

Cheers! :)

I think they're referring to the system here.

I know there are some really good sites for P6, but damned if I can find them right now. My personal stab on it is here, but it hasn't seen actual testing or even proofreading, so take it with a grain of salt.

The general idea is just to pull out the first few abilities of a prestige class you like, make them into a feat tree, then make sure that PCs can only get access to one tree. From there? The skies the limit!

Keep in mind if you're using the Beginner's Box, certain mechanics from P6 won't show up, so you'll have to adjust things. For example, full attacks aren't really a big deal, attacks of opportunity work a bit differently, stuff like that. So keep an eye out for things.

Cheers!
