So, I have always like Druids, they were always fun to play and help save the party quite often
Apparently in Ultimate Magic there is a pack lord archtype. Combined with the beast master archtype in APG for Rangers that is 2 animal companion pack classes. This got me wondering, Prestige classes that add to your level for your companion (like Nature's Warden), Do they add 1 level to your pool (so you can get another pet for example) or is it just to 1 companion. Same for their abilities like
If it applied to all, I wouldnt mind the requirement to multiclass (Straight Druid can not enter this PrC)
Anyway, thoughts on this. How good is this PrC with your Druid (gainable at level 8 after another prestige class is gained) or Ranger (at level 8, straight ranger till then).
On a side note, I would like to see so erreta for the pack master druid that allows them to do animal shamman archtype as well (because they both alter wild shape and nature's bond, RAW you can't) But would this make the druid too powerful? As far as I can tell, a shaman who loves wolves would be more likely to have a couple of them with him, same with lion, eagle or snake. It is harder to justify with dragon, bear, shark (maybe) and dino, but that is 4 to 4 in shaman types so idk. Thoughts?
