Pathfinder 1E Paizo no longer publishing Dungeon and Dragon

I agree, they could have gone both ways, I'd have been fine with that. As for Pyramid, I didn't even know it still existed until yesterday. Not that it matters.

Danny,

You're preaching to the converted here Danny. ;) I certainly agree but I also think it's time to let the vehemence rest a while. Or at least I plan on delegating it out to people that feel they can do something. I'm just too damn tired and old right now. :p

Aggy,

When has finding out something new when a bad thing happens ever been good?

Dannyalcatraz, I'm terribly sorry and I sincerely do not mean to be a pill, but your sig might...uh...need a little editing.

RPG Publishers!: Your products need more proofreading! And by PEOPLE- not just spellcheckers!

Pffffft to this "Deathless" garbage! If it walks like an Undead & quacks like an Undead, its Undead, even if it has a good alignment.

There should be an apostrophe in "its." I got a good laugh out of it though, and since my grandmother is in the hospital dying this week, I sincerely thank you. Almost a shame to point out the error...

And yes, it sucks that the magazines had to be morphed into something else after long and illustrious runs.
I have at least slept on it, I'm still disappointed. I do think there is a good chance for an upside to this overall.

But there is one area I have serious doubts about, something that I still feel residual anger over. I feel like this is very likely the death knell of support for the out-of-print settings. As little as we got from Paizo, at least they would go there on rare occassion. I don't see that WotC will make room for the out-of-print settings. We all have read about how WotC firmly believes part of TSR's downfall was the stratefication of the fanbase via too many product lines (i.e. settings). Thus the trimming down to a bare minimum of supported settings.

I know other folks have their own reservations, that's mine.

Eric,

I heard that. Especially since I've yet to see any say Dragonlance or Ravenloft support either.

I just wonder about the things I love the most, Core Beliefs, Demononcion and of course the comics.
