Any chance of resolving the licensing issues for a LGJ compliation or getting new articles published?

Congrads on the new products, I'll have to pick up a copy of the book at GenCon.

Hmmm...

A whole Adventure Path in one book would be great, except for one problem: Having already bought the entire thing in magazine format. So I must ask, why would it be worthwhile for someone who bought each issue? (Personally, I missed #113, #115 and #116, but I plan on correcting that at some point.) You can say, " extra adventure ", " cool map " and " better tied together ", but how the hell is that worth the price tag? (Especially if you're like me and live in a country where the price seems to be heavily marked up, *after* exchange. I live in Canada, and even though the dollar is high right now, the Canadian price on a lot of books hasn't come down.)
Don't get me wrong, I like the Shackled City, and I like Adventure Paths, but come on?

(P.S. If I were to order back issues from Paizo, how would they arrive? The magazine with a sticker on it, in a plastic cover, or a box (for multiple orders)?)

Kaodi-

I have no idea whether I am representative of the norm, but I own all the magazine issues and still plan to buy the book. I liked the adventure path, and prefer the substantive 'feel' of a hardback book instead of a binder of photocopies from my mags. I guess I am saying that the format is worth it to me, but maybe not for everybody. *shrug*

We'll also be taking pains to make it Forgotten Realms-friendly (by having Eric Boyd write up sidebars on how to adapt each adventure to FR) and Eberron-friendly (by having Keith Baker write up sidebars on how to adapt each adventure to Eberron).

That will be great! I love the sidebars with tweaks helping fit it into one of the published worlds. I can usually tweak these things myself, but I like to hear what other people think and go from there.

I've bought every issue of the adventure path, and I'll definitely shell out $60 to
get the hardcover compilation. This is one of the best campaigns I've ever seen.

The only problems are solved by the compilation book:

1) It is spread out over many magazines. (Not any more)
2) It is partially in 3.0 and not 3.5 (Not anymore)
3) It is a meat-grinder. (Well, that one extra adventure will help. ALOT.)
4) It needed a bit more connective tissue between some installments. (Extra adventure,
more text added).
5) Dragons. So many dragons... (That's the sort of problem I can live with.)

I don't envy the guys compiling it and upgrading it though (I tried to do this myself... ouch).

Why must you ask? Quite obviously, the answer is that it probably isn't.

Of course, I've only got two issues or so of that run, so I'm actually quite delighted. Although I'd still prefer a Cauldron mini-campaign book ala Freeport, quite honestly.

There's been a pretty vocal request for FR and Eberron sidebars, so chances are pretty good that we'll fit them in to Shackled City somehow.

Woohoo! I can't wait to see where they slide it into FR. The Eberron adaptation could be pretty interesting too. I'd think Xen'drik (sp?) would offer a lot of potential.
