Pal2/Sor4/Spellsword3/Eldritch KnightX is really nice. You can cast in a mithral breastplate without spell failure, you're only down 2 BAB, and can take Practiced Spellcaster to make up the lost caster levels (although not spell access).

I'm actually going to start a character like this in the next month or so.

Another nice one, btw, is a slight variant of this: Pal2/Sor4/Spellsword3/Eldritch Knight3/Sacred ExorcistX. The Sacred Exorcist levels will add to your arcane spellcasting. Your BAB will be down a bit, but by 20th you'll still have a +16 BAB and 4 attacks. You'll have 8th-level spells, and decent saves. The Sacred Exorcist also segues nicely into the whole "holy warrior" aspect of the character. And finally you'll have the ability to turn undead, which can be used to fuel Divine feats.
