The Half-Orc's Savage Attacks ability uses the common wording "melee weapon attack" and almost all beast attacks are listed as "melee weapon attack", so it seems pretty unambiguous.

There are a few exceptions, like the Ape's Rock attack which is a Ranged Weapon Attack and wouldn't work with Savage Attacks, the Giant Spider's Web is also a ranged weapon attack, and doesn't do damage anyway (not sure whether it would work with Sharpshooter), and the Air Elemental's Whirlwind and Water Elemental's Whelm aren't listed as attacks of any kind.
