Paladin of Bahamut

Lumen11, do I know you?

I had a character in one of my games that was a paladin of Bahamut. She was a Barbarian pressedinto service of Bahamut by a dragon representative. It worked ok.

IMC, there is a human ethnic group who worrship Bahumut, but i've messed with the dogma a bit, so it fits. maybe your paladin could be dedicated to fighting evil dragons and protecting good ones?

That Idea sounds nice Olive, though I do not see myself protecting and hunting dragons at my early levels, so I'd have to find something to do in the mean time.

As for knowing me Jester......I doubt it, certainly not personaly. THe only possibillity would be that you know me from a Wheel of Time message board.

of course, but it could be a part of the paladin's ideas. he sees dragons (esp. lawful good dragons) as the ultimate expression of the paladin's code, and sets out to good in the name of their god. when he sees dragons, he does his best to fight the evil ones and protect/aid the good ones. and aiding dragons could amke great low level adventures. make sure when ypou're getting spells you look at the domains of bahumut and choose approriate spells... wind walk and the like.

Yeah Ok.

So when can you really start calling yourself a paladin of Bahamut. Once you say I want to follow him, when Bahamut accepts you or something in between.

that would depend on your DM, but i say you amke a paladin who is dedicated to bahumut from the get go and then develop what that means as you play. maybe he just aspires to the fury and majesty of gold and silver dragons?

the sorceror1/paladin9/dragon disciple 10 idea is nice i think, but i can understand wanting to not multiclass.

Would Bahamut as a god go in Forgotten Realms setting.

Officially not. He is not in the F&P and therefore not in the FR.
But S.K.Reynolds said on his HP that there were some god excluded from the F&P who should be in there and Bahamut is one of them.

Here the Link
