1) I don't see how you can think Corellon is a shallow god. I'm a bit confused.. (and i think you're just taking shots now)
2) "Of course, no chaotic good monks or paladins exist. " Of COURSE they don't, they have to be lawful. It doesn't say that no monks or paladins exist that worship CG gods.

It's open to interpretation whether or not it mean that if you don't follow big-H, you must follow Pelor. Personally, I think St Cuthbert would make a remarkably good god for a paladin to follow.
I don't think it's open to interpretation at all. They were making a comment, not setting forth a rule. This is all commentary that you're bringing up.

I'm talking about a rule. And i don't think one exists.. but i'll happily go to my DM for a judgement, if one is found.
