Paladin/Sorceror Hybrid - 3 in 1 implement/weapon?

This seems like a cool build for a dragonborn. I plan on making him Str/Cha based (obvious choice) but as I am trying to get gear for him it appears he needs a magic implement, weapon and divine implent as well to make max use of his power choices. Are there any feats and/or item choices that can narrow this down? Holy weapon one day would be nice but that still leaves him needing an implement for his sorcerous powers. Any suggestions?

Hybrid Rules stat that if either class can use an Implement for a power, both can. So Holy Symbol+a Weapon, a Weapon that can be used as a Holy Symbol, etc., will cover you.

Yeah, just the hybrid rules as written, plus the feat Arcane Implement Proficiency, would let you use any heavy blade as your weapon, arcane implement, and divine implement all at once.

Couldn't you use a dagger or staff as a weapon, and since they count as implements for sorcerers, have them also count as implements for a paladin?

Yep, or a Bradaman's Bastard Sword or Disrupting Warhammer, or whatever.

Going from dagger and shield to long sword and shield is a nice bit of damage, though.

I for one prefer Crusader's Weapons for all my Paladin-smiting needs.

Radiant damage=a good damage and power type. Especially at high levels.

You could use a weapon that acts as a holy symbol, such as a Crusader's Weapon. Note that some holy symbol weapons would not work, such as the Weapon of Evil Undone, which specifies that it can only be used for divine powers.

Arcane Implement Proficiency only works for arcane powers, so taking it does not let you use the new implement for paladin powers.
