Pantheon of one?

I don't do no prizes either.

But yes sinners generally grant a different version of spells, though I always thought it was devilish/demonic forces that did that.

Also In the Deities and Demigods, there is a section about worshipping an entire pantheon of deities.

For example, one could be a priest of the Greek Gods, Egyptian Gods, or Norse Gods.

The cleric gets to choose any two domains from ALL of the God/desses, and I believe alignment becomes a non-factor. I'm probably wrong on the alignment part, but I never use alignment in my games so meh.

Not to verge into forbidden territory, but just look at our world: three of the largest religions in the world worship the same deity, just in radically different ways. So monotheistic =/= one religion. So followers with similar mindsets, domains and favored weapons might band together in a church, taking a dim view of those who have differing beliefs.

I went the saints route myself. One overgod, the "Holy Matron". Within her church there were various saints who each venerated a different aspect of her religious philosophy. The priests would all worship the same goddess but do it through the faith and teachings of different saints, or find their own path and choose their own domains.
I was just going to offer up the same advice here :p

One god, with a bunch of saints which pick up minor aspects of life in their domains (literally and figuratively).

Klaus' last post had a good example as well :)
