So what do you think of when you see this statue?

Well, thanks to all of my years of playing D&D, every time I see a statue, I get all paranoid that a Medusa is nearby. Of course I don't say anything to my friends on the off chance they'd think I was crazy or something, you know.

The Statue Of Liberty? What makes you so sure that really isn't a giantess that was turned into metal by a Medusa who could turn people into metal instead of stone?

It could happen you know.

:uhoh::uhoh::uhoh::uhoh::uhoh::uhoh:
Don't close your eyes. Don't even blink.

So what do you think of when you see this statue?

There aren't enough fiberglass giant ogre minis and dorky roaring girls in my life :heh:

As for D&D/RPG influence, I look at action movies and I end up imagining the character's actions translated into game terms. I think a lot of gamers do that, though.

Never trust a bunny on a stump.

I'm glad I snuck a peek at the MM, before our DM first used it. I still don't trust stumps to this day.

The Computer is your friend. Trust the computer.

Happiness is mandatory. If you're not happy, then you must be a commie mutant traitor.

But there are no commies in Alpha Complex; Friend Computer would not allow them. To imply that there are commies in Alpha Complex is to imply Friend Computer has made a mistake, and only a traitor would do that.
