PARANORMAL INVESTIGATIONS INC. - "The Case of Castle Frankenstein"

The folder does not offer much information, mostly the history of the Van Krieger family and on Mary Shelley etc. Some short summaries on similar reports on animated golems (made of flesh/clay/metal or whatever), mostly taken from religious texts.

.

Instead of just writing a long essay on all the stuff that's in the folder, just ask me questions of what you want to know.

Groovy. I'm looking for anything that will offer insight to: the family's financial situation, what young Victor Van Krieger likes to do for fun (besides construct golems), his achievements, any significant information on him, infrared satellite surveillance photos of the house, and 3-D mapping of the interior based on the same ;), and perhaps anyone who we might drill for more information on the family and the young Van Krieger... disgruntled former employees, rivals, offended waitresses etc.

Dr. Percivale will also want to look through the folder. He'll look for psychological (an exciting and emerging field. He has spoken in the past with a Dr. Freud who seemd a bit preoccupied with sex. Nevertheless, he finds it intriging,) tendencies in the father which may have carried over to the grandson. What happened to Ludwig Von Krieger? Does Victor have any other brothers or sisters? What else might we find of note? I assume we may keep the folder for later use.

The Van Krieger family is an old noble family who although having lost a lot of it's former glory, still is fairly well set. The family had large amounts of money invested in various places in Germany, which went to smoke at the end of the Great War. They handled themselves pretty well in the depression and now things are looking up, especially with the their bank in Geneva (second largest bank in town).

More to come... ran out of time.

Victor Van Krieger, only son of Adolf Van Krieger, grandson of Ludwig Van Krieger and great-grandson of Victor "Frankenstein" Van Krieger. Born in 1906. His father died young, killed by a bear while hunting. His grandfather's fate was actually similar, he also died young, seemingly killed by bandits.

In the folder you can find pictures of the four generations of Van Krieger males. The family resemblance is uncanny. It's like they could all be the same man.

After his father's death Victor grew up with his mother and his father's sister and her children (her husband died in the war). When he grew up he went into medical school, where he finished on the top on his class. Another thing he picked up in school was great interest both in his family history as well as the myths and urban legends surrounding the many noble families in the german speaking world (every family got one).

When he got home, he sank himself into his studies, doing little else. It was when his mother and cousins started butting in on his research that he moved into the old house.

"Not much to go on here," Pete smirked as he handed the folder to Dr. Percivale. "Maybe we could just knock on his front door and ask, 'Hey are you chopping corpses up, sewing them back together and running electricity through them?' Do you think he'd invite us in for tea?"

"Skewed as it may seem, I was pondering something quite similar to that...with a little more emphasis on guile of course, " says the old professor, leafing through the folder and commiting an astonishing amount of information to memory for such a scant few seconds, "as well I came along with bags packed then isn't it? If the good Doctor has no further insight to bestow upon us, I suppose we shall be off then. Hmm?"

"I would like to stop at a book store or library before we get on the plane." Pete began checking the pockets of his jacket, shirt and pants as he headed toward the door.

David glances through the information in the folder, concentrating mostly on what he could learn about Victor van Krieger himself, rather than the family's history. He is disrupted from his studying by van Helsing's impatience, and gets up with a sigh.
