Parrying
When ever someone attacks you and you have this ability active (activated as a non action at the end of you last turn), your armour class is treated as having a +6 deflection bonus. If the attack is in range of a melee attack (with the deflecting weapons range) you may make an attack of opportunity. This enchantment only works on melee and whiplike weapons. When this is used in conjunction with total defense the AC bonus is +8, (And the standard bonus)

Caster Level: 8th; Prerequisites: Craft Magic Arms and Armor, Bigby’s interposing hand; Market Price: +3 bonus

Improved Parrying
This is the same as the lesser ability, but the AoO is made at a +4 moral bonus.

Caster Level: 8th; Prerequisites: Craft Magic Arms and Armor, Bigby’s interposing hand; Market Price: +4 bonus

With a weapon of this ability you can substitute an attack action for a +8 deflection bonus to you armour class, against you next attack (working in reverse order.) You may only use this once per turn per enchanted weapon. This stacks with the defending ability. It is only applicable to weapons which do not leave the hand

What does "against you next attack (working in reverse order)." mean? I've read it a dozen times but can't figure it out.

Also, what is "once per turn"?

Finally, if it is a deflection bonus, it will automatically stack with the Defending ability. No need to mention that. Plus, a deflection bonus applies to all attacks, including missile and magical ray attacks. Is this intended? I would replace "weapons which do not leave the hand" with "melee weapons".

I like this concept - its more in line with what I think Defender weapons should be. It also brings to mind Shieldbreaker from the book of Swords. Nice flavor overall.

One note: +8 is a very high bonus, as +7 is equal to 3/4 cover. Did you mean for it to be that high in comparison?

Also, it might be easier to leave the +4 bonus on the attempted sunder or parry as an unnamed bonus rather than a morale bonus. That way you don't get overlap with Bless effects, etc.

The moral bonus is from the fact that, You have just stop that nasty sword, you can kill him. By does not leave the hand I wanted it to include whips, dagger whips, naigika(whip with glass?), perhaps Melee weapons and whiplike weapons.

On the first question, if you are being delivered an attacked, at the end of the attack routine you deflect it and attack, rather then interupt the fullattack with an attack of oppertunity. Which actually seems a better idea.

I had +8 because you can have a defending weapon at +5 ac, plus 8 as a number looks beter then 7 or another equally random number.:p

So I change the weapons it effects, the Ac and the method !:D
