Party Point Person

Guys

I am trying to build a character to take the point position in the party we have a rogue so that isn't my primary role. I act as 3rd fighter and 2nd rogue. So far I am 5th lv and have the following
Race: Human
classes:
1st Scout
2nd Barbarian
3rd Scout
4th Barbarian
5th Scout

My Stats are:

Str 15
Dex 16
Con 14
Int 14
Wis 10
Cha 8

My Weapons are a +1 Great Ax, Composite Long Bow (Str Mod +2) Heavy Flail, Long Sword.
Armor: Mithral Chain Shirt +1 I also just found slippers of spider climb.

I have access to the Complete Books, & DMG including Assassin

I am not a Cheese Monkey so there has to be some logic other than a single feat to take the level

I would like some advice before I choose my 6th lv

Dread Commando from Heroes of Battle is a good point person class. It requires dodge, and mobility and some ranks in the stealth skills. You get to add your class level to initiative checks for you and your party and get full BAB and +1d6 of sudden strike every other level. It's a nice five level PrC.

A bard would fit the bill. I think there was a Savage Bard in the Unearted Arcana ...
