We fully anticipate this product to be a 4th Edition product. We just can't commit to it being a 4th Edition product, yet, per the reasons I think we've talked about to death.

Have you considered making it like the Pirate's Guide to Freeport? A pure setting book in other words. You could always do a player's guide later with appropriate crunchy bits for whatever version you end up going with.

Second that.

Yes, we've certainly considered that. :-) This product is still in the planning phase; nothing is set in stone.

It's going to be a 4E product? That's too bad.

Oh well ... so much for that.

Pre-order cancelled.

But let me know if a 3E version gets done.

DEFINITIVELY hope so. It looks great, I consider the book - but while I'm stoked for 4E and really like the stuff I read so far, it can still tank. So I have no clue whatsoever whether I'm playing 4E or 3E. And for a book that close to the 4E release... no clue how that will work out.

And I guess I'm not the only one in that boat.

Cheers, LT.

That could be interesting.

Makes it edition proof but takes away the hype of being a 4e setting. (Assuming hype still exits at Gen Con.)

How about a dual-stated book or maybe two versions, where the 3.5 version is a limited run? I'm only asking because I am seriously considering sticking with 3.5.
